Synopsis: Police investigating the mysterious disappearance of a famous horror film actor question the estate agent who rented him a new house and learn of its macabre history. In 'Method for Murder' a horror novelist is haunted by one of own murderous characters; in 'Waxworks' two old friends become obsessed with a wax museum that counatins a mannequin very like a woman they once both knew; in 'Sweets to the Sweet' a new private teacher becomes increasingly concerned about the young girl she's looking after; and in 'The Cloak' horror film actor Paul Henderson is possessed by a black cloack he buys from from an old shop.
